Recipe: Sweet soy salmon with sautéed vegetables


This is a great recipe I tried: sweet and salty salmon with wholeful sautéed vegetables. The perfect yummy protein rich meal for a fishy craving.


1. Salmon : 3 medium sized slices
2. Honey : 3 teaspoons
3. Soy sauce : 5 teaspoons
4. Ginger : 1 teaspoon, finely chopped
5. Salt : 1/2 teaspoon
6. Black pepper : 1/2 teaspoon
7. Lime juice : 1 teaspoon

Step 1: Put the honey and soy sauce in a bowl. Mix well till the honey dissolves.vsco-photo-1

Step 2: Add the ginger to the soy-honey mix.vsco-photo-1

Step 3: Now time for the salt.

Step 4: Add the black pepper and stir well.vsco-photo-4.jpg

Step 5: Add the lime juice and stir well. It gives a nice sour tang to the salty-sweet sauce.vsco-photo-2.jpg

Step 6: On a flat pan, add two teaspoons of olive oil followed by the salmon.vsco-photo-5.jpg

Step 7: Add the soy-honey mix and allow the salmon to cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.vsco-photo-3.jpg






1. Olive oil : 1 teaspoon
2. Salt : 1.5 teaspoons
3. Soy sauce : 2 teaspoons
4. Garlic : 1 clove, finely chopped
5. White button mushrooms : 2, sliced
6. Red and Green bell pepper : 1/4 each, medium chopped
7. Asparagus : 6-7 stalks, medium chopped
8. Broccoli : 1/4 bowl of florets

Step 1: Add the olive oil onto the pan and allow it to warm on medium heat. Then add the chopped garlic and let it cook for around a minute.vsco-photo-1.jpg

Step 2: Add all the vegetables to the pan.vsco-photo-2.jpg

Step 3: Add the salt and soy sauce, and allow the vegetables to cook for around 7 minutes till they shrink a bit.vsco-photo-5.jpg
